Yeast Free Holiday Foods

The holidays seem to bring out the best and worst in people and in our health. Naturally no great holiday celebration would be complete without turkey and gravy with stuffing and more gravy as well as some mashed potatoes with (of course) even more gravy on top of that – but what about some yeast free holiday foods?

Overeating and especially overeating on sweets through the holiday season can cause many of the symptoms commonly associated with yeast overgrowth to appear. Constipation, bloating, achy joints, yeast infections etc…can be a flag that there is too much yeast in your system.

“With the holidays so close how should I deal with all the food?”

Well not all holiday foods are bad for you if you are on the diet or planning to do the diet cleanse.    Most meats and vegetables are great yeast free holiday foods and are a part of the “accepted foods listing”, however all the sweets and desserts (including fruit) are off limits. If you are in the middle of the diet stay strong and don’t blow the whole thing for one or two days. While a small slip-up will not ruin it for you don’t use the holiday as an excuse to overindulge.

If you haven’t started the yeast diet cleanse yet don’t use the holidays as an excuse to put it off.  While there are some additional challenges there are still lots of yeast free holiday foods that you can eat.  If your spouse will do the diet with you that could add the extra support you need to make sure you finish.

Proper meal planning can go a long way to helping you finish the diet with success.  With that in mind I want to share the recipes I have used and have helped literally thousands of others make the most of a yeast free Candida Diet.  Grab all my yeast free recipes in one organized set of PDF files for instant access…..right here:  https://www.theyeastdiet.com/candida-diet-cookbook.html
