Yeast Free Diet Cleanse Group Challenge – July 6 through July 26, 2010
We are exactly two weeks away from our group yeast free diet cleanse so I wanted to share my personal process with you and how I plan the detox. A big “shout out” to all our Facebook group members who are participating in the cleanse with us. For those of you who are new to the yeast free diet my biggest recommendation is always advanced planning to ensure success……after all you wouldn’t go on a trip without making any preparations and likewise you shouldn’t dive into a new diet routine without planning ahead.
Two Weeks Out Yeast Free Diet Preparations:
Start using up the foods that you will not be able to eat on the yeast free diet including sweets, sodas, and processed foods. The detox will go much smoother if you are not constantly tempted by sweets lurking in the pantry. Dairy and fruit can wait until next week before you need to start thinking about using them up.
Familiarize yourself now with foods you can eat on the diet and make a one week meal plan (or go ahead and plan all three weeks if you’re up to it). You can view the guidelines I use at yeast diet guidelines. I had trouble coming up with meal ideas the first time I did the diet so I put my favorite yeast free meals in a cookbook (e-book) resource that is available on the site here. It is not a requirement for the diet but in my opinion is well worth the $17 price tag not to spend hours looking up recipes online. If you want the recipes but just can’t afford it contact me and we will work something out. Next week I will post my three week menu to share ideas.
Go ahead and buy your supplements. Supplements are key to the detox as they help kill the Candida overgrowth and flush it out of the system. Find supplements from a licensed homeopath, a health food grocery store or from a reputable source online. There are many choices here so it is best to talk to your doctor about what would be the right protocol for you. A great online source for the recommended supplements is www.iherb.com. If you have any problems finding the supplements you need please let me know and I will forward the contact information of my licensed homeopath in NC that can ship them within the U.S. *Always consult a medical professional and read the labels for any restrictions that may affect you or your condition prior to starting a supplement regimen.
The following supplements are the combination that have worked well for me in the past and that I will use again for this upcoming cleanse:
– SF722—a derivative from the castor bean plant available by Thorne.
– Citricidin—grapefruit seed extract; antimicrobial to help against parasites and fungi including Candida.
– Coptis and Spilanthes—potent herbs that combat fungal growth.
Start making your preparations to join us in the yeast free diet group cleanse starting July 6th!!!
To your health!
